Start with the commercial requirement

Before collecting keywords, list what the business actually makes, supplies or trades. Add the applications, capacity ranges, materials, customisation options and locations that matter to a buyer. This prevents the campaign from attracting enquiries for products or services you do not offer. A useful keyword is connected to a real capability and a page that can explain it.

Separate research from supplier selection

A broad product term can mean many things. Someone may want a definition, an image, a specification or a supplier. Phrases containing manufacturer, supplier, trader, installation or a location can reveal a more specific requirement. Do not use every modifier automatically: a rental business should not present itself as a manufacturer. Group terms by the need they represent and decide which deserve distinct pages.

Build pages that help procurement teams

A product page should do more than repeat the product name. Explain the application, relevant specifications, supplied scope, available configurations and information needed for a quotation. Use approved technical details and real images. If your team needs capacity, quantity or site location to respond, make that request clear at the enquiry stage. A practical page supports the sales conversation before it begins.

Use location pages when they add value

Location content should describe genuine supply or service coverage. Explain what is available, how the business serves that area and which details a customer should provide. Repeating the same paragraph with a different city name contributes little to the buying decision. Keep location pages connected to the relevant product or service so visitors can continue their research.

Review the enquiries as well as the traffic

Search impressions and visits show that pages are being encountered; they do not establish whether the visitor fits the business. Review the queries reaching key pages and compare them with sales feedback. Are enquiries asking for the right product and capacity? Are they from locations you can serve? These observations help refine content and priorities over time.
